What is LSA?
LSA is a nonprofit, volunteer soccer organization that has provided soccer programs and activities for Lakewood, Ohio, area youth players since 1982.
LSA offers a recreational soccer program, called Saturday Soccer, for youth players between the ages of 4 1/2 and 14.
LSA offers a Travel Soccer program for youth players between the ages of 7 and 14.
Our purpose is to provide the youth of our community the benefits of a team sport through quality instruction that promotes sportsmanship, enjoyment and the development of individual soccer players to their highest level.
Who is the LSA
LSA is nearly 100% dependent upon volunteers at all levels. As a volunteer organization, we are always in search of adults who are dedicated to providing the benefits of competitive soccer to the children of Lakewood. To volunteer, call president Scott Suttell at 216-926-8702 or send an email to lakewoodsoccerpresident@gmail.com.
All About Travel Soccer
We participate in the American Amateur Soccer League (AASL for boys) and the Northern Ohio Girls Soccer League (NOGSL for girls) along with about 40 other communities. The Leagues determine such things as roster sizes, rules of play (which vary by age groups), field sizes and requirements, registration parameters and other items of administration. While LSA has its own policies and guidelines, League rules and procedures are the definitive authority.
